Lucky Stone Jewelry | Online Store

Posted on January 7th, 2010 by Que Sera in news

As one of my first projects through my affiliation with TradeFirst, I was blessed to work with an amazing woman to help turn her ‘hobby’ into an official online store. Alison is a local an interior designer ( Granview Design – LaSalle, Michigan ), but found a skill and love of jewelry-making that has brought us Lucky Stone Jewelry as well.

Her pieces range from simple and natural to sophisticated and sleek, to just fun and cool. What makes Lucky Stone Jewelry unique is that most of her items are made from ‘beach treasures’ found near her home on the shores of Lake Erie, her favorites are ‘lucky stones’. To find out more about Lucky Stones & Alison’s amazing jewelry Click here to visit LuckyStoneJewelry.com!

The store uses a custom Magento template with a few addons and tweaks ( flash, blog, product viewing etc.. ) and is completely editable by Alison whenever she has new creations to add.

New ‘Steps’ for Kids First

Posted on June 16th, 2009 by Que Sera in news

We completed the KidsFirst Pediatrics website (via our partner in Dallas)  in late 2008 & in Spring 2009 we were asked to add a whole new section to the site, giving their patients & other web visitors a ‘grow up guide’ called ‘Kids First Steps’

The new Kids First Steps section gives parents 16 age groups to choose from, each with categorized information and advise to parents with kids in that age group.

We embedded photos and videos for each age & the doctors can edit all age content/categories from the same easy-to-use backend administration area that they use to update their main website.

The Rock Garden Online | The most amazing jewelry.. you have to see it

Posted on June 16th, 2009 by Que Sera in news

screen-capture-6 Jodi Cooke (owner & custom jeweler) of The Rock Garden in downtown Sylvania, Ohio can create your dream jewelry unlike anyone else I’ve known. I love to stop in just to see what’s new in the boutique.

It was a pleasure creating a simple website for her to showcase her work online (she previously hadn’t had a site & had customers asking why not?!). So we came up with a basic simple design to show her past work as well as items available now.
The site gives her full control over new product additions or updates, content changes active in real time, and more from a simple, easy to use backend administration.

Look Again.. it’s Van Optical! | Toledo, Ohio

Posted on April 16th, 2009 by Que Sera in news

Web Design & Development for Van Optical | Toledo, Ohio

Van Optical has been the friendliest place in Toledo to get new frames or contacts for over 30 years. Kim Van Tuienen took over the family business in 2007 & since then has been working hard to keep Van current, contempory and competitive with other Toledo optical retailers.

Van is known for their personal service and attention. With well-known opticians and an established optometrist, the Van Team is what sets Van Optical apart, so promoting the ‘team’ was an important part of their new site.

A new face for FirstServesRadio.com

Posted on April 5th, 2009 by Que Sera in news

FirstServesRadio.com | Home PageIf you’re looking for Sports Talk, look no further than First Serves Radio Show with Steve Jarnicki Weekdays from 3-4pm on Fox Sports Radio WCWA 1230AM. Steve is unquestionably one of the most enthusiastic, outgoing & just fun to listen to people I’ve met & coming up with a new ‘brand’ for his show was truly a pleasure. I was trying to create a logo for the show as large as his personality & hopefully I did ok :) Whether your teams are in Toledo, Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Detroit, Cleveland.. He’s delivers news, trivia, gets listener feedback, offers special discounts from his sponsors & more. I’m not specifically a sports fan, but have enjoyed the show every time I’ve listened (especially when he was talking about his new website!)

Pediatrician Website featuring real patients for Kids First Pediatrics

Posted on November 16th, 2008 by Que Sera in news

screen-capture-3

Kids First Pediatrics in Highland Village ( near Dallas, Texas ) had a desperately outdated site that just didn’t reflect the fun and professionalism of their practice.

With help from our Dallas Partner, we worked together to take photos of their patients to incorporate into the design and developed a fun, informative, and interactive site that the docs can update & ‘blog’ on whenever they like.
For as simple as it seems, the site is an in-depth collection of resources and information for families (patients & non-patients alike). It includes a ‘Doctor’s Blog’ with timely information and articles that the doctors want to share, links to their online patient charts, a new ‘grow up guide’ for parents to reference, recommended reading & suggested weblinks, staff bios & photo gallery, tour the office, forms & pre-appointment information.

All content of the kidsfirstpediatrics.com website can be edited by the doctors in real time via an easy to use backend administration area. Take a Closer Look…
